About us

Born into a family that loved cars, it was bound to happen; that trait would be passed on to me from my father and uncle. Unfortunately for me, wrench turning wasn't a thing I was good at back then. However, cleaning vehicles was a way I get could get involved with them while doing something different.

Starting an (unofficial) business in 2004, I would detail cars for people when I was on active duty. Having honed my skills of cleaning cars in the barracks parking lot, I would continue this for my friends and family when I left active duty. This would help keep my skills from fading over time, and mainly keeping me limber enough to do it!

Eventually, with encouragement from one major person, I launched M.A.D of Metairie.  For the first time, I really did find something that wasn't a job. Instead, it became a labor of love to each vehicle that's being cleaned. It doesn't matter if it's a 1970 Ford Pinto, or a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder. Each vehicle is treated like the modern work of art it is.
